I get to do yoga at home on my time and be led by a famous yogini whose yoga teaching style I absolutely love. In my comprehensive Yoga with Kassandra Review, I'll go into the specifics of the app and what you need to know. Yoga with Kassandra app features 

Yoga with Kassandra is the best app I’ve come across when it comes to keeping it simple yet offering in abundance at the same time.

With over 750 classes to choose from, you'll seldom run out of options. Plus, new content is uploaded every month, meaning that Kassandra has a consistent yoga practice herself, which I admire.

This app is not much of a yoga fitness app as it sticks more to the traditional roots of yoga, particularly favoring Yin and Vinyasa. However, you can still create the perfect daily yoga routine on Yoga with Kassandra.

What I hadn’t found until now is a yoga app that includes Pranayama. I love that this app has some Pranayama classes. This is a limb of yoga that is too often ignored.

An entire section is dedicated to Pranayama on Yoga with Kassandra, and you can take part in different classes demonstrating various breathing techniques. I often incorporate “Lions Breath” into my classes, and all my students love it.

You can filter your classes by focus, length, level, and teacher. I like the easy navigation this app offers. Some focus areas include arm balances, affirmations, core, full-body, and chakra. This freedom allows you to have a perfectly curated daily yoga practice.

Another great feature is the tutorials. Are you struggling to get into your headstands? Luckily, you'll find plenty of tutorials on the app to help you get into the more difficult asanas. 

There is also a Facebook community that is nearly 70,000 strong that you can join and connect with other yogis from around the world. 

Yoga has a beautiful and complex history, and there are vlogs on yoga history and philosophy that you can stream to your heart's desire. I have always had a keen interest in Eastern Philosophy. In fact, that is why I started taking yoga classes!

Beginners are not left behind on Yoga with Kassandra. There are tons of tutorials. If you’re a beginner yogi, this app is ideal for virtual yoga, as it’s a great online yoga app to establish your yoga practice.

You'll be able to get into crow, flying pigeon, and many more advanced asanas in no time. I swear!

There is also a “7-day beginner Yoga journey” under the “programs” option – this is the perfect introductory to yoga. It includes classes for flexibility, stretches, arm balances, and more.

From my analysis of the app, creating a daily yoga routine for beginners should be pretty effortless on Yoga with Kassandra.

How to navigate the Yoga with Kassandra app

When you first open the app, you'll be on the home screen. Here, you'll find an overview of what is on the platform, like recent uploads, vlogs, courses, and a shopping section where you can purchase yoga books, tarot decks, and more.

Within the home screen, there are sections categorized into “Classes,” “Exclusives,” and “Learn & Shop.”

Under the “Classes” section, you'll find many recent uploads you can pick and choose from. You can filter your classes by style, focus, length, level, and teacher. Kassandra is trained in both Yin and Vinyasa, so those styles are the main styles of yoga on the app.

You'll also find calendars for each month with workouts for each day. This is super unique and convenient, and I am living for it!

There is also a search bar where you can type in keywords to look for any specific video or vlog you want. 

The “community” and “calendar” section is next to the search icon on the bottom row of the app, and where you can track all your workouts and journal your feelings after your yoga classes. Don’t forget to do this self-reflection aka “Svadhyaya” yogis!

Finally, on the far right on the bottom toolbar, you'll find your library. Here you can view all your offline downloads and the videos you recently watched.

I would be remiss to not at least mention the Yoga with Kassandra YouTube channel, which is home to hundreds and hundreds of free yoga videos.

This yoga teacher has over 2 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, which is no small feat! Kassandra has an endless amount of content on her YouTube channel including yoga challenges, yoga for flexibility, yoga for morning, yoga for evening, Yin, yoga by length, yoga by focus. Her channel is a great resource, be sure to check it out!

Yoga with Kassandra vs Yoga with Adrienne 

There is nothing better than some powerful feminine energy in the yoga world, which both women exude. 

Adriene is talkative and holds poses for longer, which make for a slower and easier practice. She is bubbly and has a very personalized approach which I love. 

Kassandra moves through poses a lot quicker. I would go for Kassandra when I am in the mood for a more vigorous class like Power Yoga. She also cues with precision and detail, I feel as if I don't even have to look at the screen when practicing.
